We focus our tours only on the West Auckland region…
because we believe in LOCAL operation!
ALL tours visit our sheep farm & Homestead
WEST AUCKAND (just 40 minutes from Downtown Auckland)
We’ve often been asked why we don’t take tourists further afield on our tours like many Auckland tour operators do. Day trips to Rotorua, up to the Bay of Islands, the Coromandel Peninsula or even Waiheke or Great Barrier Island! ……Well, we simply choose not to.
We try to follow the ‘true’ Eco-tour practice of local business operation. The west Auckland region is where our family has lived since 1922, and the genuine and authentic EXPERIENCES we can give to you, come from the knowledge we have gained about the region where we live.
We also buy our goods & services locally, and Stuart gives his (unpaid) time as Treasurer to the local Kumeu Visitor Information Centre.
Our Native tree planting project will also benefit our local community with reforestation of our farmland, from the trees our tourists have chosen to purchase.

What’s an ECO-tour? Members of TIES, we provide ‘true’ Eco-tour experiences with a unique opportunity to offset your emissions with our Native tree planting project.
FULL day tours (1,2,3,4,5,6) operates 1 Oct – 30 April. Includes lunch, & afternoon tea.
HALF day tours (2,3,4,5,6) operates all-year-round.
Exclusive Tours Any (or all) of the above. Operates all-year-round. Your choice of itinerary. Lunch & afternoon tea included, but lunch beverages at own expense.
Shore excursion for Cruise Boat groups (1,3,4,5,6) The most extensive shore excursion in Auckland….guaranteed! Operates 1 Oct – 30 April. Includes lunch & afternoon tea.
>>> For large groups (maximum 24 persons) -or by prior arrangement- we can provide our special ‘Kiwiana-themed’ BBQ lunch at our farm. For such groups, this includes a complimentary ‘group’ tree planting to offset your carbon emissions. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL.
Corporate or Business groups Itinerary prepared that can include 4-track motorbike adventure or tree climbing. Great for team building. Operates all-year-round.
