During this FULL DAY ECO-TOUR, you’ll see the WAITAKERE RAINFOREST (1), and have a fully guided tour through the Arataki Visitor Information Centre. You’ll stop for 1/2 hour at a craft market called CRAFTWORLD (2), for an opportunity to shop for genuine New Zealand products. You’ll enjoy a WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE (3) at an award-winning winery, and sample pure raw New Zealand honey at BEESONLINE (4). You’ll visit the world-famous takapu GANNET COLONY (5) and you will also see MURIWAI beach, (one of west Auckland’s beaches), with its black iron-sand. Just 7 minutes away, is our New Zealand SHEEP FARM (6), where you will be welcomed (-in Maori-), into our historic Homestead. You will be shown around, and be able to take in, the New Zealand-lifestyle of our typical family home. Then outside, you will be able to feed and touch pet New Zealand sheep and see our other ANIMALS. Come for a walk through our New Zealand native GARDEN on the way over to the WOOLSHED for a display on wool and New Zealand sheep farming. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase & plant a New Zealand NATIVE TREE to offset this tour’s EMISSIONS. It’s then back to the Homestead to freshen-up and experience a homemade AFTERNOON TEA …and don’t forget your free LANOLIN skin care samples!
LUNCH (with wine/beer), is also included …
your choice from the upmarket cafe menu
