AUCKLAND WINE ECO TOURS

Auckland wine eco tours an impressive range of Nobilo wines

MORE than just “tasting wine”

Coast to Coast Tours is your best way to explore the wineries of the west Auckland area as we can give you a personal historical overview of the region that we call ‘home’. Our family were some of this region’s early pioneers, settling here in 1922, and our  ‘true’ Eco-tour will connect visitors with the region where they are touring.

  • Tours operate on request
  • Pick-up from ALL inner Auckland city accommodation
  • Small group travel via our 10-seater mini bus

Wine eco tour at Nobilos Auckland(YES!…you’ll taste ‘Monkey Bay’ at the very winery which produces it.)

We know much about the history surrounding the development of this area’s vineyards with Croatian immigrants that progressed from making ‘backyard’ Port and Sherry (of which our Mothers used to buy!), to the manufacture of multi award-winning Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot wine varieties of today.

Also,  this tour is very sustainable.
As we are local residents (-and we adhere to only operating locally-), our profits will be directed back into our own community. We also offset our tour emissions by a Native tree planting for every tour we undertake. (The trees are planted and remain protected on our own farm).
You may prefer to purchase your own tree for this tour, but if not, then the day’s tour-group are joint ‘custodians’ for the day’s tree!

OTHER THINGS TO DO in West Auckland include a New Zealand cuisine experience at ‘BeesOnline’ Honey Centre and Cafe, or a visit to the world-famous Gannet colony at Muriwai Beach. We can also cater for a 4-TRACK Motorbike Adventure, or a tree climbing expedition at Tree Adventures.

And, of course, none of our tours are complete without a visit to our sheep farm and historical Homestead. Enjoy an Epicurean afternoon tea platter…(homemade, and we are Food Handling Certified).

Let us organise an itinerary from the many things to do in west Auckland, which is especially ideal for Business and Corporate groups when they need to plan their one day tours;

…especially if you would like a slant on “just” a wine-tasting tour!
